Solosprint events 8&9

Hey doods, I am planning to run the Solosprint event on Sept 20 at Shannonville and I have some questions.

Do they still offer the temp. license option? I'm only doing 1 event, I'd rather not buy my license at 50$ for just 1 day.

What configuration are they running that day?

How do I pre-register, I checked the CASC site, but no luck.

I did an event last season without a license. It's up to Ana to make sure you have one.

AFAIK they still offer the temp license which I beleive is $20. Check with Ana soloontario@cogeco.ca.

Thanks doods, I've emailed Ana, if they still offer the license, I'll be joining you on the 20th with my CRX.

I like Fabi. Is HADA the host club for that day?

So what do I have to look forward to in GT3? Which is where I think I'll be running on my non-premium R's. (73.3 is my pip schedule then I take -5 pips right?)

you can do the temp-lic on the day of, or pre-reg. thats what i did last year for the same two events.

I assume you are running your CRX? you'll be against me in GT3 (i'm on RA1s too) - this should be interesting :D Should be fun EG vs CRX ;)

Well you absolutely smoked me at the HADA autoX so I can't imagine I'll be much trouble for you. I will be on 4 year old Kumho Ecsta V700s, but they're nice and wide so it should be tons of fun!! I look forward to it!!

The Ontario SoloSprint Organizers have to pay the Region for your "Temporary License" which is good for both days. To grow the sport, we agreed to eat the cost of that and not forward it on to the new person trying out Solosprint.

Assuming that you have a valid CASC-OR club affiliation, you shouldn't have a problem with the weekend license. However, I inadvertently missed the last OSO meeting, so I can't swear by it.
