SoloSprint Events 8 & 9 @ SMP

SoloSprint events #8 & #9 will be held at Shannonville September 20th, 21st. [next weekend!!!] Saturday is Fabi track, Sunday is Pro

-HADA will be co-organizing the weekend but officially we are only responsible for organizing Sunday's event. As the weekend is organized by HADA it would be great if as many HADA people as possible attend. Can I get a role call? :)

-Even those who are not planning on competing are encouraged to attend to support our club members and lend a hand at the track.

-Will anybody that is planning to attend the event be paying a visit to HADA locker? Perhaps subsequent to the HADA AutoX event this coming Sunday? We need to pick up the HADA banner/coolers and perhaps grab water if there is any available.

-Will anybody have available cargo capacity to carry water or coolers to the track?



Free camping and free hot showers. :D
BBQ Dinner on Saturday night is included.

I'm in. I'll be heading up friday. Leaving London at 8am, arriving around 2-3pm. At 10am I will be in Brampton picking up my truck... i have cargo space for anything short of another car, but I won't be putzing around town picking things up... if you want to load up my truck, let me know and arrange to meet me at 10am at clarance and rutherford.

HADA has not booked any lapping for the Friday night. Plus, there's already an event taking place at the drag strip so I doubt there will be any lapping unless it's Nelson and hosted by someone else.

I have one of the coolers with me filled with pop, some burgers and sausages, condiments, etc. as well as some napkins and plates. Are there any fridges/freezers at Shannonville because I have no idea if the meat and perishables will last until Saturday night.

Refill the coolers with ice on Saturday morning and keep it out of the sun, they will be ok, specially this time of year.
Shannonville sells ice I believe but like fuel it's probably marked up.

Registration opens at 7:30 and the first meeting is at 8:30.

Ensure that you are registered prior to the first drivers meeting in order to prevent bogging down the event with Admin issues.
