The owners manual won't tell me if it's a D2R or D2S, because it's dangerous to change such a bulb and I should just take it to the dealer.

The SERVICE manual tells me how, but won't provide a bulb specification other than "35W".

Anyone know what Honda uses here? D2R or D2S? And what the original Kelvin bulb temperature is?

BTW, the OE right headlight bulb has turned from it's noticeable blue tinge to Pink. I assume this means that the bulb is suspect, right?

The 03 TL was the reflector bowl headlights, and not projectors, right? (Can't remember which year was the switch over). If it's reflector, the bulb is a D2R.

OEM colour temp is 4100-4300K.

Most HID bulbs will develop some colour to them as they age. So if you've noticed the colour going from white to blue to the pink, then it's time to change the bulb.

Thanks Bryan.

I assume that D2R bulbs also like to be changed in pairs like Halogens do? Only the RF has gone Pink so far.

Yup, always in pairs. And that goes for any HID bulb, really.
