In regards to the open house on Sunday, what information MUST i have ready? The entry form is obvious, but what about:

-Dyno Plot Submissions
-Curb Weight Submissions
-Macrocosm.ccdb Info Submissions

Etc?

Do they accept cash; and does the $400 for the sprint school cover 1 event still?

I am still unsure as to which mods will be on the car; PIPable mods so far:

'95 Integra GSR
-JDM GSR Engine (stock)
-B16 Tranny w/ LSD (2.5 PIPs)
-Skunk 2 I/M (1 PIP)
-DC Ceramic 4-2-1 Header (2 PIPs)
-Omni Coilovers (6 sPIPs)

I'm trying to avoid any further modification for now (i already had all of these mods prior to competition consideration).

This currently has me classed in GT1; i do plan on running street tires (-10 PIPs?).

Also, on a seperate note, should i take the extra PIPs for a tune? I'd hate to waste the S2's gains...

Thanks in advance guys! I really appreciated your help in the last thread...

-Alex

I don't think it would hurt to have all the submissions ready. But if you don't have them, I'm sure you can submit them afterwards. Probably best if our CCC guys answer this.

Cash is accepted and yes the school includes a free event.

Considering your set-up, you would benefit from a tune. But if that bumps you to SGT3 then it's pretty much up to you whether you want to do it or not. If it was me, I would try to get the most out of the car, instead of trying to keep it in a class for the sake of it.

Understood;

Would i benefit from gutting the car and classing for race weight? (already had the intention; was just worried of additional PIPs).

Quickly looking at the rule book:

Any vehicle with more than 4 unfactored bPIPs in the Section 5.1C ‘Body & Trim’ MUST submit a ‘race trim’ curb weight, as prescribed in Section 5.1D ‘Curb Weight Option’.

If you're just going to remove the panels, then I wouldn't bother. But if you're going all out (ie. gut EVERYthing, CF hood, sunroof removal, etc.) then you probably have to do the race weight anyway.

However you set up your car this year, you will find you want to fine tune your class/set up this year and next year, after you have gained some experience. The higher you are classed, the more prepared your competition is going to be.
From a learning view point and building confidence in your abilities, I suggest you go down in class as far as you can. Going out every weekend and being near the back of your class will discourage you more than if you are in a lower class but come in the top three.
