Hi Guys and Gals,

We're really short for instructors this weekend due to Mother's Day, a Vintage Race, an Ian Law School, a BMW School at Calabogie, etc.

John, Martin and Miles are helping a bit this weekend, but other than that we're really short of volunteers from SoloSprint's biggest club!

Even if you haven't instructed before, we'd like to have you start at this one if you've taken a few TRAC or equivalent courses and can communicate to a student by more than a grunt and wetting your pants, you're in. :)

So off the top of my head.... Christine, Taylor, Chris P... there's like half of this club that are qualified, no?

Trust me, I'd rather be there, but I'll be watching paint dry... Ugh.

Do i need to have an up to date CASC club membership to help out? What are the arrangements for food and is there track time for volunteers again? I have been to that school as a participant 3 times, plus the big track school and a season of solosprints. Also about 30 autocrosses in my past.

oh yeah, when would i have to be there, is there any pre-school training for the instructors, what other info do i need if i can show up?

I can help on Saturday, but can't make it on Sunday. However, I get severe motion sickness when riding as a passenger, so I'm not terribly useful as an in-car instructor. I have done the classroom instructing at this and other schools in the past, so if you need a classroom instructor or a general non-in-car volunteer to wave flags or whatever, I can be there Saturday.

You know I'd be there... there's just this pesky "wedding photography" problem (two years in a row on this date. ARGH!), combined with. Well. THIS:

Rumour has it there *might* be some drywall in here this weekend. HAHAHAHAHAHA *sobs*

Dave - eat some ginger snaps or gingerbread beforehand as it does a great job of combatting motion sickness.

I've tried every remedy you can think of for motion sickness. Nothing seems to work for me. My inner ear is an enigma

Holy crap.....that's quite the job you have created for yourself!

Is the info on the casc board? Saturday is not a problem, Sunday....well depends on the timing.

Any chance for instructors to get some seat time?

Thanks Christine! Can you PM me your Email, please?

INstructors and volunteers get lunch, a BBQ Saturday night, and our sincere gratitude.

Instructors also share two hours of track time. (Hopefully we'll have 31 instructors) If you're volunteering, ask Mr. Barker.

Dave: I may not be there on Saturday myself. I've asked Mr. Barker. We already had classroom instructors lined up, but if you could do the classroom, that would free them up to sit with students.
