Long story short, Ordered this wrench when another (earlier) wrench I bought came in defective, got a refund for the defective one, but was able to get it fixed inexpensively,
In the interim this new one came in ... I decided to keep the repaired one.

As I do not need three 3/8 drive wrenches, this one needs a new home .

Just want what it cost me, $60 to HADA peeps ... new this is over $160 +++

Is this Ft/lbs or Inch/lbs?

3/8 drive torque wrenches are usually inch/lbs. Inch/lbs are great for clutch pressure plates.

75 Ft/lbs is low for wheels requiring 80 ft/lbs or 135 ft/lbs for the center hub nut.

Tay, if you want this, I'll let you have my dibs, as I, too, already have 2 3/8 drive torque wrenches. ;)

Andrew: Yeah I just want something accurate at low ft/lbs. I think my larger one that I mainly use for wheels has lost it's low spring accuracy as I've found myself putting a lot of force into a 20 something ft/lb or so seat bolt once.

Does that sound right to you guys? (crappy low accuracy on larger princess auto-like 1/2" torque wrenches?)

Most 1/2 drive torque wrenches start at arround 30 ft/lbs and the accuracy is generally rated in % above and below the min /max torque values the wrench can set.

Quote from CDI on a specific 3/8 drive wrench - " Accuracy: ± 4% clockwise ± 6% CCW of indicated value, CW, from 20% to 100% of full scale"

So you can proabably assume that a 1/2 drive wrench is not that accurate below 40-50ft/lbs ... assuming a calibrated, quality wrench ....

No assumptions can be made with the Princess auto wrench ....it may not even be individually calilbrated, only batch calibrated, if at all.

IN general for smaller bolts/nuts you need to be using a 3/8 drive ...down to "about" 10-15 foot / lbs ... below that will need a specialty 3/8 drive or a 1/4 drive to torque below 15 ft/lbs

My "Good" 3/8 drive torque wrench, a CDI Computorque-3 (Digital/electronic) is rated from 5 -100 ft/lbs ± 2% CW of Readings from 20% to 100% of Full Scale ± 3% CCW of Readings from 20% to 100% of Full Scale - twice the precision and more range that the regular CDI that I use for day to day ...

John it varies ... the CDI 3/8 drive Click type can be bought in three basic flavours, FT/LBS , In/Lbs and Newton / meters - it all depends what you are torque units you work with day to day

I would never use a 3/8 drive to torque lug nuts anyway .... that is what 1/2 drive is for in my books
