A guy on our Miata board just put a feeler out on a '99 Maxima, 270k, $2500. He wants to fix the windshield so I assume that means it'll be certified at least..

I can get you more info if you want...

That car sounds like a great deal, especially as a commuter car. Mind you the V6 part kinda sucks but I'd say it's pretty low-risk.

Raj's glass guy (Richard) has great prices. I remember getting PPG tinted (at the top) glass for only like $20 more than the misc-brand non-tint stuff.

Uh yeah, if it becomes available, that would be sweet, keep me informed!

I'm also looking at an 02 Protege5 that is pretty reasonably priced.

Outta your price range but I just let my 2004 Maxima SE Navi 4-Seater w/ 100K go for $12,500 :(

The car was mint. If you remember how clean my Teg was, this was even nicer!

Thanks for the update Ryan, I was 99.99% sure it would sell at that price anyway.

We were supposed to look at an 02 Protege5 today but that didn't work out. Hopefully I'll see it this week. The best of what I've seen so far.

And Theo, I don't think I've ever heard you call anything 'clean' or 'mint'. I would have expected something more like 'I rode it like a dirty whore'.

Hmmm. Good point Tom.

It was pretty clean, for a dirty filthy hole though.

Think Jessica Simpson, rather than Lindsay Lohan.

So if it's Jessica Simpson then wouldn't that mean it looked good on the outside but was really only running on one cylinder?

Hbomb,

Fixed. No one will ever know what we were talking about. ;)

Taylor,

Yes. And it thought Buffalo Wings cam from Buffalos.
