The bylaw officers want Scott's Blue 2 door automatic DA Integra out of his driveway by tomorrow. It didn't pass it's emission test last year so it's just been sitting there, doesn't run either (something about a broken fuel line...)

Most municipalities have by-laws about unplated cars... (especially when you have 4 cars in the driveway of your townhouse)

Shit one block around here has a schoolbus parked in someones driveway all the time.. that's some BS right there.. not in the 'burbs...

you should see what the stretch to our mail box looks like... and no one is clearing it... not even the bloody post office...

This is the thing with neighbours immigrating from poor countries.. the standard of living just isn't even remotely the same. There's another corner places up the street that has about 10 newspapers decaying at it's side door. how hard is it to throw out a newspaper?

Otherwise it's a really nice neighbourhood, but when you see 3 satellite dishes and 50 feet of saggy cable on the FRONT of their house.. I'm thinking "What the fuck?!" Like a property inspector couldnt' write them up just for the mounting (or lack there of) of the cable, let alone it's appearance.

And it's this one strip of duplexes that backs onto the train tracks, so you know it's lower income and they're 1) advertising they're stealing TV and 2) ugging up the neighbourhood.

That said, it's better than segregating by income level.. it's just weaksauce.. where's the pride?

I was going to get ride of it in the spring, but now I basically forced to get rid of it now.

You have to remember that up here in you can park you snowmobile and boat trailer in the driveway but you can't leave a car.
To me that's BS. I pay taxes too.
But I do understand the point of keeping the neighbor hood clean.
With all the sleds, trailers and ice huts in Driveways.

Hey Scotty... *devil's advocate* if I recall, when I bought my house and read my bylaw package, it said no boat or snowmobile trailers either (except in an enclosed garage...)
