Hi All,

The 2008 autoslalom school is coming upon us again. This year, we'd like to take the opportunity for each club to send a couple of representatives to the school in the form of Instructors, Helpers, Registration, cone killers, etc.

As a show of Teamwork on behalf of CASC, we'd also like to invite all clubs to setup a booth at the Powerade Center on April 26 & 27th. This is an awsome opportunity to present your "Benefits to membership" and expose more new people to the sport.

In Summary:
Call for volunteers
An invitation to setup your club tents / tables / exhibits

Send an email to:
spda2 (at) spda-online (dot) ca

Please title your email with either "Booth" or "Volunteer"
Information Required for Volunteers:
Full Name
Car Type
Years Competing

Thank You

Regards
Joe Trinidad
President, SPDA

Thank You

Since I will be attending the TRAC Academy in Calabogie that same weekend, I will not be able to attend, otherwise, I would be there. So I would like to know if there are any HADA members that are willing to help out at the school? It's a great opportunity to help showcase our club to prospective members and other clubs alike. Please send Joe and email if you are willing to help out. Thanks.

I wish I could help since it is a tonne of fun, but I'm in charge of site management at an exhibition at the UofW all weekend...

Joe at SPDA is still looking for volunteers and instructors. I always had a blast at these schools (whether as a student a decade ago) or more recently as an instructor. If you're able to help out, please contact Joe directly.

I have put my name in as a volunteer. I had fun as a participant last year and it will be interesting to see it from the other perspective. **haunting voice of ChristineL advising "You could go faster..." :D **

lol...I have a 'haunting voice'?

It is interesting that from the passenger's seat it is much easier to feel that a car is not being pushed enough.

I will be at the TRAC school also, otherwise I would have signed up to help.
