I will be going for my third time to the spring DDT school. I think there are still free spaces, so if you're on the fence, get the hell off of it and sign up!

How much does it cost?

$425 I believe. You also get a free SoloSprint event with that as well, which is limited to the DDT or Shannonville events, if I'm not mistaken.

Of all of the motorsporting I've done, NOTHING beats the value of this school if you still have things to learn about car control. Not to mention, it is a great way to gear up for the DDT event 2 weeks later. Unlike the HADA school (not knocking it!) there is NO downtime at this school. You are either in a classroom, on a skidpad or on a track. No waiting aorund.

That's the main reason why I'm going. :)

Its my girlfriends birthday on the Saturday, thats the only problem... or i'd be there :(
I just bought her a shiny new helmet though, with some pink graphics.. haha, she'll like that

If I had the cash, I would bring her to the school as well for a bday gift... but the bank account doesn't agree with that, especially after the Solosprint Open House, and the TRAC school :(

Do students have to do both days, or can you do just one?

You can do one day, but you're still paying for 2. The free solo event is an awesome enticement.

Who's camping friday and/or saturday? I will be there both nights sleeping in my cube van. If anybody else is there we could have a fire :)

We could use volunteers to help with flagging and cones on the skidpad if you can still make it out on the Sunday, Chris.

(I'll be there Sunday.)

Turns out that I'm only camping there Friday night. I will be leavnig my truck and car there saturday night, though, so I will have to back it up against a wall. Is any help required on Friday evening? I could get there as early or late as I would like as I'm taking friday off.

I would love to be able to stay and help out some more, but my son is trying out for the Rogers Cup Ballcrew on saturday... that's something I don't want to miss since he already made it to the final round
I'll be there on Saturday for registration though and might stay for an hour or 2 after that!
See you all there!
