I need to order 1 or 2 torque wrenches for work
1 small ~200 in /lbs
1 large ~100 ft /lbs
N/m scale also needed
ultimate accuracy not neded +/-4% should be fine.
The easier to read and adjust would probably be the biggest selling feature some of the guys find the N.m scale on the CT wrenches difficult, and none of them had ever heard of zeroing the tool after use:(
help me by pointing me in the right direction re: places or manufacturers
Thanks

This style has a digital read-out with switcable scales and does not need to be reset after use
there is a audible (beep) and a visible light when you reach the desired torque setting

Hi Shane,
Try this web site. This company makes torque wrenches for most of the industry including Snap-on and Mac, etc.

Perhaps there's a misunderstanding on the returning to Zero? That's only if you're storing it, like at the end of the night. I've never heard of having to dial down to zero before changing torque values again...?

Thanks Guys,
I'll start searching
Steve, we only use the torque wrench once a day at the most, (and that is shared between 8-9 people) and the ones we have are probably 15 years old, and have never been calibrated or returned to zero....ever!
When I started I ordered a CT special and kept it to / for myself.
We use them to hold people's feet to their legs;) so there does not need to be the absolute accuracy as would be needed by, say, an aircraft mechanic! but after 15+ years (conservative guess) I think we should replace them, they don't owe us anything.
